Hauptsturmführer Michael Wittmann was one of the tank aces of World War II, with recognized kills of 138 tanks and 132 anti-tank guns. He began his career on the Eastern Front with a StuG.III, and later took command of a Tiger I during Operation Citadel at Kursk in July 1943.
Dragon now has here an exquisite replica of this Wittmann Tiger I (turret number "S04 ') with 88 launch rings on the gun.
The kit shows an early production variant and thus closes the important and long awaited last gap in the Tiger I family.
To ensure the highest quality, most of the components of this special production, such as turret, upper fuselage, engine cover, rear panel, running wheels, spare track links, etc. are of new revision and execution.
