Brushes can be made of sable or fibre. Sable brushes are ideal for painting, while fibre brushes are ideal for modelling. The most important thing about a brush is to always keep the tip in good condition, as this is what will define the line. When the tip opens from use, they can be reused for techniques such as dry brushing, for example.
