The Klingon Bird of Prey served the Klingon empire well with two variations. A B'rei-class scout vessel caused the destruction of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-18-01 Refit, while a K'Vort-class light cruiser was credited for destroying the venerable U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D nearly a century later.

The ship known for its bird-like wing configuration was the first Klingon craft to feature the ability to cloak, a feature speculated to come from Romulan technology gained during a brief alliance between the two races. The ship was commanded by the Empire's finest warriors and featured powerful weapons, sporting dual wing-mounted disruptor cannot and fore and aft photon torpedo launchers.

This finely detailed model kit of the Klingon Bird of Prey features surface detail that lends itself to various weathering techniques for the utmost realism. The ship can be built with its wings accurately posed in one of three modes--attack, cruise, or landed. The landing bear features detailed parts, including rear landing ramp and die-cast metal legs. The ship is molded in color with clear parts. A decal sheet and posable display base are also included.
