Trumpeter 1/350 U.S Aircraft Carrier USS Hornet CV-8 (1942) model kit

Trumpeter barges into naval kits with a superb offering of the famous USS Hornet. With Trumpeter turning out good-quality kits of subjects like these at the pace they are, Japan's majors are going to have some catching up to do!

I cannot testify to the accuracy of this kit, but the level of detail appears to be outstanding, and is very crisply molded. Instructions are well illustrated and provided in Chinese and English. Includes two each of a B-25, F4F, SBD and TBD aircraft, but you'll need one of their optional sets (see links below) if you want a nice deck full of planes. Includes markings for both Midway and the famed Doolittle Tokyo Raid. Highly recommended!
