Honda's limited commemorative model released in 2022 is the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP 30th Anniversary version! Breaking through the conventional image of large-displacement motorcycles, it created a new category called "Super Sports," and adopted a tricolor scheme reminiscent of the first-generation Fireblade and CBR 900RR that appeared in 1992. Equipped with a 999cc in-line four-cylinder engine that produces the strongest 218 horsepower in its class, it incorporates the racing technology of the RC213V MotoGP machine throughout. It is a high-performance machine that can win races with improved circuit performance, in addition to having great ease of handling on public roads.
This model kit by Tamiya features a truly amazing level of detail! The side cowl with its built-in winglets and other aerodynamic shapes are faithfully reproduced; the high-performance four-cylinder engine is precisely modeled. The engine, swing arm, front fork and muffler are fixed to the frame with screws; the side cowl and under cowl are removable. Metal inlet marks are used for the rearview mirror; the pearl white base with red and blue brushed coloring is expressed with waterslide decals. The tires are made of realistic synthetic rubber, too. A decal of the exclusive 30th Anniversary logo is included for the meter surface and tank cover. The rearview mirror reproduces the mirror surface using a metal inlet mark. On the side of the muffler made by Akrapovic, there is a decal of the exclusive 30th anniversary logo; the silencer is an integral part using a slide mold. The decals are made by Cartograf for the highest quality!
