The Soviet Union's embryonic jet design
Initial tests of the Mikoyan-15 were so successful that Stalin egged on the Soviet Aviation Minister to produce them in greater quantities. Soviet industry popped out a new airplane nearly every day, producing almost 18,000 units. In the skies above Korea, the swept-wing Mikoyan-15 was exceptionally good at poaching fixed-wing aircraft. Once the U.S. started to scramble advanced jet fighters of their own, however, the MiG-15 was suddenly toast. This kit features decals and instructions for assembling your very own MiG-15 egg plane.
