Magic Factory 1/48 F4U-1A/2 Corsair (Dual Combo, Limited Edition) aircraft model kit

This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

Introducing the F4U Corsair, a single-seat, single-engine fighter aircraft developed by Chance Vought in the United States. It was operated by the US Navy and Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War.

The F4U-1A variant features an elevated cockpit position by 178mm for improved forward visibility, along with a bubble-shaped canopy with fewer frames. On the other hand, the F4U-2 is a night-fighter version equipped with an airborne intercept radar dome.

Two decal options are included for each variant.

The wings can be built in either folded or extended positions.

Separate parts are provided for the control surfaces.

Photo-etched parts and painting masks are included.

Two versions of the instrument panel are provided: one with molded details and one without (allowing for easy use of aftermarket 3D decals, etc.).

The F4U-2 variant's radar dome is the first injection-molded kit to accurately represent its correct shape.
