This model kit from Hasegawa brings us the F-35 Lightning II (B type) used by the U.S. Marine Corps aboard the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's escort ship Izumo to conduct takeoff and landing tests. Includes decals for two versions: U.S. Marine Corps 242nd Marine Combat Attack Squadron "Bats," captain's aircraft DT01 (Iwakuni Base, October 2021), and U.S. Marine Corps 242nd Marine Combat Attack Squadron "Bats" aircraft DT02 (Iwakuni Base, October 2021).
