This item is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The WWII German Tiger I Heavy Tank needs no introduction, but here's a brand new company that does! From out of nowhere comes Rye Field Model, knocking it waaay out of the park with this stunning kit of one of the most popular subjects in the armor modeling world, the aforementioned Tiger I. This being their initial release, they have chosen the initial version of the Tiger I, representing vehicles deployed to the North African front in Tunisia with the famous 501st Heavy Panzer Battalion.
In the old days of modeling, companies would start slow and easy, with early kits maybe not quite up to the standards of the day...but these days we have brand new companies coming out swinging with kits of amazingly high quality, and that's just what we have here! This all-new tooling of the Tiger I features incredibly sharp molding and detail, and includes workable indy-link tracks, functional torsion bar suspension, photo-etched metal detail parts, positionable hatches, and a variety of optional parts. Decals are provided to allow the modeling of a number of 501st vehicles. Parts come molded in brown.
There's a saying amongst armor modelers that you can NEVER have too many Tiger models, and when they are the super-high quality of this all-new offering from Rye Field Model, that saying has never been more applicable! You NEED this new kitty in your collection!
