From the ICM description:
The most numerous and famous tank in the world was the Soviet T-34. It was designed in the Design Bureau of Kharkov plant #183 under the leadership of M.I. Koshkin.
Its serial production was launched in 1940. It was the first mass-production tank with anti-projectile armor, a powerful diesel engine and a 76.2mm long-barreled gun. Up until the end of 1941, it was considered the world's best tank.
The modification of an improved turret, known as a "nut," was in production starting in 1942.
The T-34 with the 76.2mm F-34 gun was the main Soviet medium tank up to the end of 1944, when it was replaced by the more powerfully armed T-34-85. Over 35,000 T-34/76 tanks were produced at six different plants from 1940 through 1944.
Will be 18.9cm long and 7.5cm tall when assembled; 199 parts molded in green plastic, with flexible tracks in dark gray. Decals are included.
