IDF Armor - Merkava Siman 2 Part 1

The Mk. 2 is a second generation to the former Mk. (Siman) 1, with a large variety of improvements, such as the new automatic transmission, new armor suit on the turret sides and on the side skirts, and a new Fire Control System (FCS). As with the Merkava Mk. 1, the Mk. 2 is fitted with a 105mm main gun, along with three, 7.62 mm MAG machine guns, a .50 cal heavy machine gun mounted on the gun mantlet, a 60mm mortar and 2 smoke grenade launchers with 6 rounds each.
