The RQ-4 Global Hawk is an unmanned drone aircraft that has no defensive capability, unlike the MQ-1 Predator. It made its first flight in 1998, and the first mass-produced machine was completed in 2003; it is currently in use by the U.S. Air Force and Navy, and NASA has several of the aircraft for research purposes. In Korea, four of this aircraft will be deployed in 2020, and Japan plans to start flying them in 2021.
