From ICM comes this nicely molded 1/48 scale model of the Ju 88A-4 German bomber. This WWII Axis bomber designed in the mid-1930s to outfly fighters had early technical problems but went on to serve multiple roles including as a flying bomb.

Since the spring of 1941, the Ju 88A-4 version was produced with liquid-cooled jumbo 211J engines of increased power and more powerful armament. The Ju 88A-4 became one of the most massive and important Luftwaffe bombers of WWII. These aircraft were also transferred to some Axis countries, such as Romania and Hungry and Finland.
